The Tennessee Educators of Color Alliance (TECA) is hosting a summit for male educators of color at the National Civil Rights Museum in Memphis. In addition, the Memphis Education Fund is hosting a reception the day before for registered educators.

The keynote will be delivered by Sharif El-Mekki, founder and CEO of The Center for Black Educator Development, and founder of the Fellowship for Black Male Educators. The afternoon will also include a panel discussion centered on mental health and support for male educators of color. Registration is free. Breakfast and lunch will be provided.
